The Bursary was established in honour of Dr. Diptendu and Urmimala Ghosh, the parents of Dr. Krishna Abhishek Ghosh, and was first given in 2019. The bursary has since been given once a year to those with outstanding dissertations at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies.
The bursary has ensured the students who study and excel with the OCHS are supported.
