The Bursary was established in honour of Hansraj and Kanchanben Popat, the parents of Jayesh Popat, and was first given in 2011. The bursary has since been given once a year to support students at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies in their academic endeavours.
The bursary has ensured the OCHS’ ability to support the very best students within Hindu Studies from around the world.
