The OCHS student portal is a place where we have collected all information for students in one place. You can find information about lectures and teaching, bursaries and scholarships, Wednesday Lunches, and much more.
Each term we have a number of University students from Oxford and visiting students from abroad who take credited courses such as Sanskrit, Hinduism I & II, Religion & Religions and Theory and Method amongst other things, with us. We facilitate a number of DPhil students who receive supervision and support from our scholars.
Thanks to our generous donors we have 17 bursaries and scholarships and last year £15.350 was given. The bursaries and scholarships can be applied for once a year.
We have lectures each term presented by our academic staff, our research-, senior-, and visiting fellows as well as other invited speakers from within the fields of Hindu Studies and the Study of Religions. We have hosted more than 2000 lectures, many of which are recorded and can be downloaded here.
At the OCHS you will also find a well-regarded library of more than 30,000 titles, which is available for use upon registration.
Our popular Continuing Education programme has a vide range of online courses with students from all over the world. The Continuing Education department also hosts day schools and weekend seminars on a vide variety of topics.
