Bhavna Kothari is a versatile and introspective visual artist based in the tranquil seaside town of Mandrem, Goa, India. Known for her deep philosophical insights and meditative themes, her creative process is deeply intertwined with her spiritual practice, drawing inspiration from her expertise in Yoga Philosophy and Meditation. Bhavna’s artistic journey is enriched by her spiritual pursuits. A professionally trained yoga teacher (RYT 200, 2016), Bhavna specializes in Philosophy and Meditation and at present works as Yoga and Meditation teacher at a Yoga retreat in Mandrem, Goa. Her exhibitions, celebrated for their introspective depth, include a 2018 solo show curated by Akumal Ramachander at Gallery Time and Space in Bangalore, along with previous solo shows at GalleryG (2006), Zen Art Gallery (2001), Time and Space Gallery (2001), and the Art Gallery of M.P.
