In 2001 the Rana Fellowship was se up to facilitate visiting scholars to the OCHS. The fellowship has been able to enpower the Centre to invite scholars to give lectures and tutorials on its behalf at Oxford University. The award was established in honour of Dr. Diljit Rana, MBE. Dr. Rana, a prominent Northern Ireland businessman has, together with his wife Uma, been one of the Centre’s most enthusiastic supporters from its inception.
